Challenge:
Create written content, illustrations, and a layout for a book based on the color green that depicts and describes for parents how the color affects children mentally, physically, and emotionally. It’s a light-hearted easy read. (Audience: 22 to 30 years old guardians and parents interested in learning how the color green can positively affect children in a digital age.)
Solution:
The color green is the foundation of the book used against a large amount of white space to stand out and stress the importance of the color as well as the plant and children imagery. Also, the larger amount of whitespace with minimally styled illustrations and a sans-serif font appeal to younger adults.
